International Moth Inlands 2024 at Grafham - James Phare capsize at the start
Переглядів 36321 день тому
The sequence for race 2 began soon after the 15 minute finishing window had closed. There was plenty of jostling for position with James Phare finding himself a little high in the box with a monster gust, thus reaching along the line at 28 knots, the round-up was spectacular although he wasn't on the boat for it.

go shoreham yc boats - dad would have loved to see this RIP Edwin "Ted"Joyce 9th July 2020
lovely view and commentary
Hi im Ukrainian sailor, im 15 and I really want to try WASZP!! But unfortunately we dont have this boat in our country 😢. Maybe some volunteers or rich sailors can afford to bring this amazing boats in Ukraine? Pls like ❤to help see this more people!!
good explanation but hard to see !
?
Thank you. Exceptional.
Seems like you should have mentioned the wasp.
Would love to know how you have mounted it. We have just taken our Weber Baby Q out of the box and are looking at a few options. I love the rod holder bbq tong holders. Looks great.
Why are you going the wrong way around? ;)
Great stuff, love it
Love the new format Mark, good to see the green screen in action again 🙂
Hi
I live very near to Farnborough, If I knew that Tom was going to be there I would have rushed up to shake his hand. Mozzy Rules.
If you're following us on social media or signed up for our newsletter you would have known! Maybe next year!
Any ideas on pricing
ive heard 20k euro
Obvious question. So where does it sit v the waszp?
Ya, the waszp is essentially the same concept. But I guess it's not as "state of the art" anymore?
It seems that every 5-10 years there is a spin off one design moth. Non have really take off Soo I'm not sure what this is aimed at. Would be better off geting a used moth and tweaking it once your skills are what slows you down.
The waszp took the principles of a moth and tried to make it out of low cost materials and solve some of the usability challenges of the moth, this is taking the moth concept complete with fancy materials and usability quirks and turns it into a one design
@@lex1233the last one that really took off was the Europe dinghy, but it's by now 60 years old
@@jonas2674 well there you go , I learn something new every day. Didn't know the Europe was from the moth class.
What a sales pitch …. If this guy can’t sell then nobody can
Can this be use with steering console? If so im sold, would love it for a small 14ft pontoon.
whats the battery recharge time?
5 hours 30 minutes. Have a read of www.yachtsandyachting.com/news/270149/TEMO%C2%B71000-electric-outboard-motor-defies-the-norm for full details.
HI There, Recharge time is 5-1/2 hours. Hope that helps. David
Game changer..
A smaller angled version would be a hit with paddle boarders and kayakers.
Would you use this on your mainsheet block on an ILCA?
I wish my crew were as involved as these young lads. maybe we'd get some results instead of using the boat as an excuse to clear out the cobwebs and hang overs of the day before, only to start straight away again at the club bar ....... We do get some very honorable results, but it's mainly down to the boat. Pity.
Can you sail one of these without a jib?
Yes, you can.
Thank you, that is a great help.
Idk why this is recommended to me but they were right
Me quedo con la vela tradicional.
Amazing!
"What" not using a kill cord.... That's not very good practice is it. :(
It's not a traditional kill cord in the same way as on a RIB. The button requires positive pressure on the throttle to be on. As soon as a hand leaves the handle the propeller stops.
I have only just found this super video. Congrats to Toby Peacock on this masterfully clear mathematical explanation.
This is one solid frame . The foil must be change the camber during the sail?
I like your vidieos
I need plans. Any tutorials on build?
They were both in the lead too. Turtle vs the hair
Is there any information anywhere on these boats? price, developments etc etc etc
Wtf is that ?
I was lucky enough to own 'Capella of Topsham' a cold molded Eclipse - beautiful yacht, lovely to sail, thanks to John W.
Congratulations on getting it built, and the best of luck for the competition.
What a lovely looking slippery but controllable boat the Hadron looks.
Beautiful video.
Righting process for a capsized sailing trimaran.
When I started tipping over on my Hobie cat I would just let some line out you think that thing would have a automatic let the line out 😆
Auf die Seite legen kann das glaube ich jeder hier. 🤣😂🤣
And THATS why i dont do cats or trimarans in the ocean.
Magnifique video ! Bravo et merci de nous faire partager ces moments.

he is cucumber-cool under pressure. surfers with a strong leash and a bouyant board are without a doubt the best lifguards in world in a surf situation. my guy was ready to get a 3 minute breath of air into those lungs.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
It was BOBS fault!! It'd ALWAYS fucking BOB!! He shouldn't even be on the team...He drunks, and probably was drunk that day...fucking BOB...
